I am still knitting. Once I knew the basics, I wanted to learn as much as I could. I have been getting knitting books at the library every week, and I always have a project going. Right now I am working on a cable knit blanket/wrap. I never thought I would be doing cable, but it really isn't that hard. It is so fun to take just plain yarn, and then turn it into something people can wear. So far I have just made hats and scarfs and cupcakes (yes, cupcakes!). My next project will be socks! I already have the yarn all picked out!!

I knitted this hat for a friend who is expecting a baby girl next month. It was very time consuming but by far my favorite thing that I have made.
