With Pat starting his internship this month I decided that I needed a new hobby. Sure I scrapbook and bake but I needed something else. Last month, I made my family mint wreaths for Christmas. It was nice to have a project to look forward to after the kids went to bed and something to keep my hands busy so I don't snack so much!! My Aunt Jean started knitting scarfs, so I thought I could try too. My Grandma had taught me years ago, so I didn't think it would be that hard to pick back up. I was looking for a book that would teach me really simply. Well, I found I Can Knit! Cool Knit Projects for Preteen Girls. This book was great and I was knitting away. So far I have only made 2 scarfs, but it is really fun. I even picked up a magazine and could read the pattern and everything. So beware of what I will be knitting you for next Christmas!!

I would love to learn how to do this. I want to do crochet or something, so I can make something for the boys. I don't know, like I have the time though.
Good for you, it sounds fun. I need to still catch up on my last year of scrapbooking.
